WordPress vs. WP Engine
Since 40% of all websites are built on WordPress, we wanted to make our clients and friends aware of One Wheel Marketing's efforts regarding a dispute between WordPress and WP Engine.
We are closely monitoring the situation for impacts. Rest assured, all of our managed sites are live and healthy.
Since select plugins have been affected, as a precaution we’ve temporarily limited plugin updates to security-related ones only. This ensures our client's sites remains safe and secure while mitigating potential issues associated with the update process.
We anticipate this to be a very short-term measure. We'll send a follow-up message by November 15 with an update on the situation. If you are a client and have questions, please email clients@onewheelmarketing.com.
If you have a WordPress site that is not currently being managed, or would like to know about some of the best alternatives to WordPress for your organization, we have created new onewheelclinic.com. WordPress appointments to discuss best practices, comparisons, and next steps. These are now open to anyone reading this, free of charge through Dec 15.
